  • A Pagan Cathedral: Reinventing the Roman Bath width:321;;height:480
  • The final project of first year core consisted of the design of a large bathhouse in Brookline, Massachusetts. My proposal, to reinvent the Roman bath prototype in the context of a new urban environment, explores the role of icon and form, signification and abstraction in architecture. width:229;;height:480

  • Using the Stabian Baths as precedent, I proposed a stacked,  and reformed version, an oddly deformed system of bath and recreation units enclosed by an outer glass shell. The idea --to play with individual forms, but ultimately obscure (or abstract) them with the glass envelope. width:320;;height:480
